Review: Too Faced's La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream in Lollipop

The packaging: Like all of the La Creme Lip Creams, this comes in a gold-washed tube. I don't really like the packaging of the La Cremes because the tube feels so cheap. It's easily dented if dropped or bumped. 

The scent: So minimal, I can't even describe what the smell is. Regardless, there is no scent when applied to lips.

The product: Lollipop is on trend with the Radiant Orchid theme this year. It's a violet shade, but with fuschia microshimmer in it. It seems like at some angles it's more violet, and at some angles it's more fuschia on me. Like all La Cremes, this glided on smoothly and evenly. It was somewhat hydrating on me, and lasted about 4 hours. 

Favorites: Out of the La Cremes I have (and have reviewed on this blog), Spice Spice Baby is still my favorite. 
 
The cost: $22 (these went up a dollar in price over the past year!).

Review: Too Faced La Créme in Coral Fire

I've reviewed another Too Faced La Créme lipstick and loved the product so much, I went back and bought another color - Coral Fire!

The packaging: Again, this product comes in a box and the tube itself is a brushed gold. The tube is slim and feels good in my hand, but it feels like it could be bent out of shape easily - either by dropping the product or holding the product too tightly.

The scent: There is a scent, but it's so minimal that you won't be able to notice it. 

The product: I love these lipsticks! They go on so smoothly, hydrate and moisturize, and feel so weightless when they're on. The color of the lipstick is exactly the color it'll be on your lips. This particular shade is a deeper coral with red undertones. I had first picked up Juicy Melons which is a pinker coral, but felt like up-ing the "wow" factor and going with a brighter and redder coral. I've been really drawn to corals this year, and this shade looked amazing. These lipsticks last about 2 hours with eating and drinking.

Favorites: I've only swatched a handful of these lipsticks, but so far Spice, Spice Baby is still my absolute favorite because it's so wearable.

Cost: $21 for 0.11oz tube. Is it worth it? Yes, but I would start off with a more neutral shade that you'll wear every day like Spice, Spice Baby.

Review: Too Faced La Créme Lipstick

Today, I'm reviewing a lipstick that's been making the rounds on every beauty blogger's MLBB (My Lips but Better) list - Too Faced's La Créme Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby. 
 

Spice Spice Baby

The packaging: As with most lip products, this tube comes in a little box - very pink, very girly looking. The tube itself is a light gold color and fits well in your hands when handling. The tube does seem like it would dent easily if dropped, and the sides of the tube are very thin. 

The scent: There is some scent when you really sniff at these lipsticks, but it's so minimal that even sensitive noses wouldn't be bothered by it.

The product: These glide on so smoothly and feel pretty weightless when applied. Spice Spice Baby is a pinky brown shade, and with one swipe, you'll get sheer coverage. I usually apply about 2-3 swipes to get medium coverage with these. Because this shade is so near my natural lip color, it's easy to apply without a mirror too. Spice Spice Baby lasted about 2 hours on me with eating and drinking, and I had to reapply after. 

Favorites: I've only tried Spice Spice Baby out of Too Faced's line of La Créme lipsticks so far, but if yall have any recommendations, leave me a comment!

Cost: $21.00 - I think this is on the pricey side, but since I use it so often, I consider it worthwhile.
