Review: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillowtalk and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Bitch Perfect

I was trying to resist buying anymore lip products, but then Charlotte Tilbury launched in the US...and with names like Pillowtalk and Bitch Perfect, I just couldn't help myself.

The packaging: All of CT's products are a rose gold hue which makes every one of these products look so beautiful. The lip liner comes in standard lip liner form. It's a pencil, and you will need to sharpen it. The lipstick comes in a standard tube but has ridges - very old school glam.

The scent: No scent detected with the lip liner, but the lipstick smells similar to MAC or LORAC products - a slight, sugary cotton candy scent. It doesn't linger though.

The product:

Pillowtalk is a pinkish-nude. It pulls more pink on my lips, but it's a great liner to use with most lipsticks - no matter what the shade. It glides on somewhat smoothly, but can tend to feel drying after a short time. Wearing the liner alone will get you about 4 hours of weartime, but will dry out your lips.

Bitch Perfect is a light muted coral with pink undertones. On my lips, it pulls pinker. It glides on somewhat smoothly, but I didn't find this to be creamy as others have said. After a couple hours, my lips definitely felt dry. Wearing this alone gave me about 2-3 hours of weartime. With Pillowtalk under it, I got about 4-5 hours of weartime.

Review: YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil in Oh My Gold

Sometimes your lips deserve a break from color and from lipsticks. Sometimes they just want to be drenched in a fancy tinted oil from a fancy luxury brand. Sometimes that sometime can turn into a daily thing because your lips get used to all this fanciness.

The packaging: This comes in the standard YSL lip product packaging. The tube is silver (not gold) with a colored band that shows the color of the product inside. The applicator is the lip-shaped YSL applicator that follows the shape of your lips for easy application.

The scent: The trademark YSL mango-ish scent is here, and it lingers for awhile after application.

The product: Oh My Gold is a gold-tinted oil. Once applied on my lips, it turns to a lighter, natural pink tint with very, very tiny flecks of shimmer. As it is an oil, it glides on so smoothly. It's non-sticky and lasts FOREVER. After 5 hours, my lips were still covered in this oil...and they felt so soft and plump.

Cost: $32
